  • Check the internet, some say the family was executed on the 16th, some 17th, which one was it?

  • @mrceebees14 The 17th around 1 am

  • The real story is so much more interesting then the animated movie. Perhaps it's because I watched the cartoon for the first time at 19, but I honestly thought the songs were the best part of the movie. What I would like to see is a historically accurate movie about the Romanovs. Any one know one?

  • @doglover12345andfr I know this answer comes a little late, but have you ever seen Nicholas and Alexandra? It's very good (and as far as I know quite accurate) in my opinion. :)

  • I did't see the end:P

  • @stacetahni427 Well said. Anastasia broke "silence" with the Hamburg case. Her family was very disturbed by this. The entire family survived! They were to disappear with new names given and not discuss their titles anymore. Anastasia "wished" she had stayed with her mother. This investigation with Falsetti is a fraud. He was terminated from his position as a scandalous actor. Ask his employer...

  • @mrceebees14 I've noticed that some mix the dates, however, the Tsarina's sister Elizabeth(Jelizaeveta), together with some other members of the dynasty, were executed on the 18th.

check her out on Wikipedia, Elizabeth of Hesse and by rhein.

I think that Robert K Massie's book-wich is the base for the film "Nicholas and Alexandra" is good. Otherwise It's hard to find... try to find "rasputin, dark servant of darkness" aswell, it's good too!

  • Elvis and Anastasia have in common...

  • @emmalunajackson33 of course they were, they were labeled as martyers and saints, im sure they were buried under their church
