Get more info here! http://learnautobodyandpaint.com/hd-how-to-adjust-your-spray-gun-auto-spray-g... In this post we will cover How To Adjust Your Spray Gun & Spray Gun Cleaning Tips.

Adjusting your paint gun is pretty simple. Most newbies think it's a complicated process when it's really not. Here is a short video that basically tells you what you need to do.

If you want to see how it's done, we also have more videos within the VIP area that show you the step-by-step process on all areas of body work, prep, painting, painting from your home garage, installing body kits and also auto customization.

I hope this video clears up your confusion about some of the steps on spray gun adjustments and how to clean your spray gun.

Remember that it's VERY critical that you clean your spray gun after each use. If you take care of your gun it will take care of you. Like my dad says... you can have a cheap gun, but if you keep it clean, it will continue to spray nice.

  • Hello what size tip do you use for epoxy primer, the base coat, and clear coat? Thanks..

  • @LayLow1503 Visit the blog learnautobodyandpaint(.)com we have videos that talk about that in detail. I think you'll like it!

  • Is 1.3mm better than 1.4mm for base-coat and 1.4mm better than 1.3mm for spraying clear-coat? Can 1.3mm do a better job at spraying clear-coat than a 1.4mm ?

  • @faustsmith It's all user preference. I've used both for base and clear. And they BOTH work well. I personally like to go with 1.4 all the way. Good luck. Did you check put our blog: learnautobodyandpaint(.)com?

  • Would you recommend putting lacquer thinner in the cup and then spraying it through the gun under pressure to get the paint/etc out? Or do it like you said with no pressure and just let it dribble out?

  • @Pendemic We do it both ways, then clean the gun. You can learn much more at our site: learnautobodyandpaint(.)com
