@adfhaf Yeah, one could easily get that feeling. although, it's not like slashing through countless silly side-characters is a novelty to berserk. it's just that normally one would read the volume as a whole and just glimpse over these parts, and not pay as much attention to them as when reading one chapter at a time, waiting months in between them. still, the rest of the material follows in what makes berserk so great, and that's building deep characters and complex relationships.

Am I the only one who thinks that Berserk is getting worse and worse with every new volume? They have been on the journey to Elfhelm for YEARS now, and now we even get filler where they land on an island to fight monster weed transformed pirates??? Damn you Miura! What happened to your masterpiece? Stop playing Idolmaster and make Berserk epic again! I CURSE Idolmaster!!!!
