WoF 2/27/09: 5000th Show (1/2)

I have pretty much no comment on this, mostly because I got my hopes up for everything to go really well for once, and...nothing went wrong...but absolutely nothing happened, either. I'm simply uploading this because I promised to awhile back, and there are sprinkled comments throughout the show.

One caveat: the last segment of this show (the bonus round, I mean) is not pretty. I have no idea why they made it so hard on such a day.

They should have put in some twists to honor the 5,000th episode, such as the $5,000 space in each round, or $5,000 on the thrid toss-up, $5,000 added on the final spin, or $5,000 guaranteed to all contestants at the end, wherein this case, Shari should be guaranteed $5,000.

I was expecting a bunch of clips from the past 26 years (Daytime doesn't exist to Freidman), not the same lukewarm gameplay!
