I'm 26 live with my g/f who i have been with for 8 years. Did programming for company but indeed work & credit stolen allot. I'm now making a game on my own.
I think men such as myself have less trouble because mother nature has been kind. I've always been very confident. Also men aspies don't seem to want as much friendship as our female counterparts.

My life has been one living Hell. I have been taken advantage of hugely. and was abused badly by others who feel no regard for human feelings. I just think you have to remember that Aspies are rather minority and vulnerable. they just function different than NTs. I just think you have to search hard for support networks. and I am looking for the same.
@Miasansom Thanks for your insight! I hope I can have your positive point of view someday. I just recently self diagnosed myself. There's relief for sure, but anger also. Why me!? I just wish I could be NT. I hate not having any friends and just sit in my room after work. Im in the air force. Umm. Ya.

@mrbunnyfufuu you can personal message me if you want too. I will be your friend. I know it's not real life, but we can write sometimes... the way I see it is: I found out I had mild autism just a few yrs ago and I'm 43. It didn't make me a different person... I'm still me, I'm still unique... I mean everyone is anyway, right? Who cares if they call it autism or what. I just try and think of myself as a weirdo... the good kind. haha - humor helps me, as U can see...

@mrbunnyfufuu I enjoy my ability to retain a child-like view on things, my artistic tendencies, and the ability t retreat within my self if things become too much. For example, I had a very traumatic childhood and young adulthood & my therapist says that it's probably my ability to do so that kept me from suicide or losing my sanity No matter how many negatives there are in this world, no matter who you are, you have strengths and weaknesses and we are all different. There is always a positive.

Hi Mia, I recently self diagnosed with Aspergers( I took several tests and looked into the symptoms -we love research I guess!) ...I so relate to you. I was married to an abusive man and got pregnant at a young age . I think my son has Aspergers too, but I was so in tune with him . I think having a really understanding parent helps a lot... I've had a lot of abuse and been taken advantage of , things are tough now. Stress is bad right now, I'm all aspie'd out hiding in my room...hate it . Messa
