@Badhabitsjay As for him being supposedly "unprofessional", what exactly comprises "professional" behavior and interactions with prisoners then? Officially or in your own mind? Because there is NOTHING that restricts or limits him from making comments like this, you just don't seem to like the content of them. Exactly what would be the proper thing to say then? Comments about how it is all going to work out in the end and how they will never be back once they leave, despite his long experiences?

@Badhabitsjay So this was a typical example of his ENTIRE history and dealings with an average inmate during their period of incarceration? You have no way of knowing what else he says. Right here though, he is speaking to someone initially entering his area of influence in a hard penal system. He is telling them hard truths, as he sees it, informing them so they don't end up with a murder beef on the inside, or disillusioned, or dead.
