I don't know what kind of music you guys are listening to, but not all "American" songs are about sex, money, and drugs. There are some really beautiful ones out there, you just refuse to see them.

I love songs like this. They're just so amazing. When I tell some of my friends that I'm trying to learn the lyrics to a song, they'll be, "What song?" And I'll say the name of some Japanese song. They'll then say I'm weird because the songs are sung in a language that isn't my own. But these songs are just so pure. I will listen to any type of music, but I only genuinely like and will go back to listen to a few. Why can't all songs be like this? Songs about love, not love songs. Anything simila

Agreed... I'm tired of hearing all that American crap they have on the radio and everywhere. They're influencing everyone in a bad way. Foreign songs are about the situations we face each day and they can help us form into a kind and generous human being. I love songs like this.

Whenever people ask me what I have on my ipod, and I say a mixture of Japanesse, korean, german, classical, and only a few american/english songs, I get weird looks... but that's ok because I'd rather fill my head with foriegn lyrics/verses that talk about GOOD things (love, emotions, situations, etc..) then english ones that only talk about sex, money, and drugs.....
