I remember hearing (& loving) this version on the radio back in the 80s. That same week I heard MC Shan & Marley Marl being interviewed (about their war with KRS-1) and they commented that they loved Cold Gettin' Dumb but didn't like the fact that it was a direct diss to Kurtis Blow who was still pretty big at the time. Never heard the story about why Juss needed to come at Kurt so hard. I'd love to know.

I remember in '87 I picked dis album up & looked at it cause of dis guy with a gold top & bottom grill dat said Just on top & Ice on bottom with a brown Gucci hat on.Ended up buying it at Evolution Records & tapes rushing home to ware out Cold Gett'n Dumb.My favorite beat/song on album
