@mikerotcherson-- that may be her way of relaxing her hand/wrist, so as not to be constantly tense. Tension in the muscles is not helpful for playing any instrument. And this girl can obviously play extremely well, so if that's her way, it's fine by me. :)

why doesn't the guy fuckin sit down?
i think he's the host or somethin, but isn't he supposed to sit down when encore starts?
but jeeeezzz...the girl pretty amazing...her hands are so fast, i can't even type that fast...lol

Researched, no. Witnessed, yes. And no one does the limp arm other than this chick.
-
Of course there is a difference. And in order for this to be a valid argument, you obviously have witnessed/researched every pianist in history in regards to their arm and hand placement when it wasn't playing, correct?
-
How do I know they didn't let their hand hang down off the side of the bench like a limp worm?
Because their hand wasn't hanging down off the side of the bench like a limp worm.
That's how I know. It's not that hard to notice the difference between an entire arm that is hanging limp versus and bent, moving one.

You've seen every other pianist in history play? How do you know that's what they do/did with their hand if it wasn't playing?
-
what is she supposed to with her hand? oh I don't know...maybe position it properly for the next keys it needs to hit like every other pianist in history?
Or maybe she could just use it to give me a little spanking since Gorobla seems to think I need it. Have this chick give me a call.

I don't see any "jazzing it up". Why does the lead guitarist of a rock band play a guitar the way they do, and do things that are perhaps unnecessary but interesting? And if she shouldn't be dropping her hand to her side when it's not being used, what exactly should she be doing with it? Hold it in the air? It's not exactly so extravagant.

um. okay. Now that I've had the opportunity to think about it (3.25 times, to be exact)...I'd have written the exact same thing.
jealous much?
