I was able to successfully install Clustering using Virtual Box.
Node 1 and 2 are using Windows Server 2003, I use FreeNAS to simulate the NAS shared disk. ; )

Hi guys..... I’m trying to create a Server cluster using Virtual BOX and the host operating system is 2003 R2 Enterprise. .... But how can I make a Virtual NAS storage system accessible to all nodes? Is that possible?
I am doing some training on Server clustering but I want to do it virtually and I don’t have access to a NAS storage system. Is it somehow possible to emulate a NAS so all the nodes see it and are able to store data?

This cluster is a good example of high availability.

basicly he is saying that before vmware could actually do redundancy they used this method to protect their server asset...

wtf. what am I supposed to learn here. there isn't even audio

Well if you understand clustering in a general sense (2 identical hosts/servers acting together) then you will understand Virtual Clustering.
Before VMWare was the big thing, people had 2+ servers acting as hosts for say, a SAN storage array. They would set them up in Windows Clustering to back each other up in the event of hardware/system failure.
Virtual Clustering is the same except the servers/hosts arn't physical, they are virtual servers.

whats a virtual cluster and where is the sound.
Yes, is possible create a shared quorum disk:
1 -Create on virtual disk on virtual machine
2- Set it as NAS
3 - Format the disk
4- Create Quorum disk
5- Set it as resource for two ou more nodes.
I have an other video here when I built SQL Server Cluster

You can see other video "SQL Server 2005 cluster using windows 2003 and virtual server 2005 R2". I did make two nodes using cluster servers in a virtualization environment.
