Joe's POV
Once we had eaten and got drinks and stuff for the rest of journey, we continued for another 2 or so hours. It's been pretty calm in the car; Mae and Anna have been telling us about the rest of there family. They were talking about there older sister Grace; who lives in Texas with her husband Michael and two children Emily and Jamie. We started to pass a lot more fields so im guessing we are close.
Mae: almost here, Anna?
Anna: .....
Nick: she's asleep
Joe: ( I look round to see Anna leaning against Nick's shoulder with her mouth wide open, I took my camera out)
Mae: what are you doing?
Nick: Joe do you not go anywhere without your Polaroid?
Joe: I almost forgot it, but im glad I didn't (I quickly take the photo, as I could see Anna start to wake up)
Nick: She'll hit the roof when she see's that
Anna: see what? ( she stretches and pecks Nick on the cheek)
Joe: nothing ( I said I'd get her back, this is perfect. I saw Mae smile out of the corner of my eye, I turned and took a photo before she could object)
Mae: hay, (I shake the Polaroid to develop it)
Joe: what?
Mae: you know I hate having my picture taken, I look horrible in them
Joe: ( looking at the Polaroid) well this one is an exception, you look beautiful
Mae: biased much
Joe: no just telling the truth
Mae: (smiling)
Joe: you smiled im off the hook (she starts to laugh, she has the most amazing laugh, it's slightly childish but it's like the most beautiful melody I have ever heard, I know cheesy)
Normal POV
Anna: Mae turn this song up, it's brilliant
Mae: (Micheal Buble I haven't met you yet) he does have some decent pipes on him I have to admit, Grace has good taste (?????? I wonder)
Joe: she got you in to his music then?
Anna: you could say that, yeah.
Nick: ok so this may make up for all other music you listen to, you do have some taste
Anna: yeah I know, I mean I should really start to get rid of some of that stuff
Nick: I can't argue with that
Anna: yeah I think I'll get rid of that Jonas Brothers rubbish I mean who really listens to that stuff
Nick: yep ...wait what? (slightly hurt)
Mae: ha ha little chef you are class sometimes
Joe: awww I think she hurt Jerry's feelings
Anna: I was only joking (playing with Nick's hair)
Nick: (stays quiet)
Anna: (her hands moves from his hair down across his cheek, he turns his head towards her so his lips are on the palm of hand) im sorry (looking in to his eyes) your music isn't that bad (grinning)
Nick: ( trying to frown but he can't help smiling ) why is it impossible to stay mad at you
Anna: it's cause im so damn cute and if you were angry all the time I would have to keep fixing your face. I know how much you hate that.
Nick: I'll be strong, if you have to fix it for hours on end I'll suffer through it
Anna: aren't you brave
Nick: the bravest (looks fake angry )
Anna: OMG your smiles broken (grinning and connecting her lips with his)
Joe: can you pull over? (to Mae)
Mae: why?
Joe: I think I need to throw up, the mushyness is getting overwhelming
Nick/Anna: shut it
Joe: (to Mae) why can't you fix my face?
Mae: cause its perfect all the time ( slowing down for a junction)
There is muffled laughter from the back seat
Joe: hay, get back to fixing his face, you have a lot of work to do, lots of problems with it
Nick: hay
Joe: truth hurts
Anna: so does the back of your head
Joe: no it doesn't (she hits him on the back of head)
Anna: now it does
Nick: (chuckles)
Joe: why do I always end up hurt when she is around?
Anna: you're stupid
Joe: atleast im not short
Mae: stop winding her up
Joe: she started it
Anna: I'll have you know im fun sized, and I don't start fights I finish them
Nick: true dat
Anna: alright gangster mouse
Joe/Mae: (laughing) nice one ( Joe high fives Anna)
Nick: solidarity when you're picking on me, I get it
