  • @labobo Nope. If you could read, you'd see I disagreed with almost everything you said.

I never said Tesla was for home purposes, never said I compared it to consumer cards.

I said that AMD is not high-tech enough to build a processing unit that outperforms the Tesla (AMD has non-consumer products too - just saying, before you start splitting hairs again) which means nVidia is far more advanced. End of story.

  • @thedevo01

    "shit through your mouth"

i just gave back what you regurgitated.

  • @thedevo01 So when did a designer become a general consumer ? It's their work. Of course they will spend money on good hardware. Just as companies.

Dude, I specing out hw parts in notepad too (but only when i need to build a new pc).

I never said it was wrong, i was just teasing you. Chill !

Actually you did compare a nvidia tesla with an ati 5770.

afaik ati 5770 is for general consumers.

So yes you did such a comparison which you yourself called stupid.

  • @labobo You do realize that a lot of designers spend not just thousands but TENS of thousands of dollars on designer equipment: Mac Pro + Apple screen / 27" iMac + MacBook + Wacom + 15+ MPX HDR camera, right?

And fuck you, mate, just because I build computer configs in notepad out of sheer boredom doesn't make me a worse person. But you thinking that I'd compare Tesla to a consumer product DOES make you that much more stupid. So please think a little before you shit through your mouth!

  • @thedevo01 aw, did you write down the spec of your dream computer in notepad.

Nope, it still doesn't count. Come back when you have bought it.

Even nVidia themselves say it's not a general consumer product. It's for companies.

I'm not splitting hairs, i pointed out the moronically obvious flaw in your original comment.

I only care about general consumer products.

Btw labs do not have infinite amount of money, they a budget. Are you not bright enough to realize that ?

  • @labobo

Alright, wanna split hair? Guess the fuck what! :D I never said the Tesla was a consumer product. Oh shit, wait! On the other hand, it is! I built a rig in notepad with not one but FOUR TESLA CARDS and it was only 2k USD more expensive than the already 10+ thousand dollar MAC PRO which if you think was made for federal physics labs (metaphorically speaking) with a fucking ATI 5770 card (roflmao) then I'm sorry, you're mistaken. :)

  • @drummerdude100 Why, are you in need of one ? :3

  • @thedevo01 Who said i was an AMD fanboy ? Do not assume random things. I do not hold any company above others.

btw I'd like to see you buy a nVidia Tesla card !

oh right it cost an arm and a leg and a part of your soul to buy one.

Moron, nVidia Tesla isn't for the general consumer.

If it's not for the normal consumer i do not care and that hardware do not count or exist to me at all.

  • @sageyash it demonstrates the way GPUs differ from CPUs regarding calculations.

CPUs do one at a time (which is why multi-core CPUs are so fancied) while GPUs are far more effective than that.
