Four custom Lisp routines by Rayburn Drafting are showcased in this video. DRAWLOT.LSP simplifies the drawing of property lines for your site plan, using the metes and bounds you provide from your survey. EASELINE.LSP lets you apply building lines and utility easements with ease. NORTH.LSP gives you a variety of great-looking North arrows that you can use on your plans and STTREE.LSP lets you really dress up your site plans with trees.

  • it will only change the xref file (your 1st floor wall design). All the other files it is inserted in will change too. An example would be a roof plan and a floor framing plan that are two different files. The xref 1st floor wall changes would reflect in those files.

  • @FreeMTrider OK I WILL TRY, LET SAY I HAVE 10 DRAWINGS WHICH IS GROUND FLOOR 1ST FLOOR AND SO ON.. THE WALL IN GROUND FLOOR IS THE SAME THICK AND SAME POSITION AND SAME LENGTH, IF I HAVE TO CHANGE THIS THICK OF THE WALL IS THIS AUTOMATICALLY FROM GROUND TO 9TH FLOOR WILL CHANGE? IF IM USE THIS XREF?

  • @007413527 only if your using 10 different files. (meaning under different file names) Let's say if I have a home design with a roof plan, foundation plan, floor plan as separate files. You can load each file with your main design xref file (wall design) and they will all change if you edit the main design file being used as the xref.

Go to your "xref manager" under the insert tab or type xref

  • @FreeMTrider WITH THE XREF I CAN EDIT 10 DRAWINGS AT THE SAME TIME? IN ONE OPEN CAD? HOW CAN I OPEN XREF? SORRY IM NEW IN CAD SOFTWARE..TNX ANYWAY

  • @007413527 if your referring to your floor plan or your main reference drawing, you can do this by using xrefs. The xref manager loads and unloads the main entity into multiple files and will change them when the main file is edited. I'm old school and like to keep my files separate but using the same xref: floor, fnd, roof, elevations, etc.

  • Thanks man !!!

  • just to ask..how can i edit 10 drawing in 1 open drawing and all these 10 are automatically change? can anybody tell to me now!? tnx..

  • This is how the information is provided by surveyors in the United States. Your method sounds interesting though, please explain further.
