I have a 10 month old jack r she knows bang now and she loves tricks. she now learned 12 tricks. her new on is hold ya hand up and say touch. she will hop up and hit ya hand....will upload vid once i can suss my phone out.....

it took a little bit to do, but he is really smart. I just did it in steps. I had him start in a down position and if your dog will let you, just guide him to lay on his side and use the phrase "bang." it takes a few tries before they get the idea of what is going on. the roll over part was somewhat the same where i also guided him to roll over. he learned roll over when he was 16 wks old though. that was his first trick learned other than sit and down. hope this helped.

hug was a bit tricky bc I did it on my own while my bf was at work, but i had a handful of bite sized treats and held him in my arms (or you could kneel down) and get in the hug position. i used my hand to get him to lay his chin on my shoulders but hid the treat in the hand that was guiding him and gave him the treat while keeping him in that position. i just kept doing it until he got it. now he gives me hugs whenever I want them!
