How would I do that when I only press the 360 eject? The 360 drive is in the HD caddy via an extended sata cable and a hand made extended power cable. I've been air and water cooling pc's for around 5 years now for various magazines. It was just a simple step to remove the drive for better GPU cooling. After all, you don't buy a high end PC graphics card, without a cooling fan. Why should the 360 be any different? It seems that MS have different opinions!

Not sure why people put these videos together showing successful cooling, but don't share how they did it.

Normally the people who put together clunky junk are the ones who are willing to share and help others....I just don't get it.

hi buddy,the xbox looks great,i am thinking about buying a broken xbox hd dvd for the case and putting the drive on top of the xbox then i can put a fan on top of the gpu.did you have to remove the legs to get it in the caddy and how did you affix the front and eject button on the xbox without the drive inside.

This is the only way (other than water cooling) to fix an Xbox (first few generations).

I have a similar setup, although not as pretty because after fixing it i no long feel like its worth the investment in time.

Shot works great! I'm in the process of doin this mod for fun on a pawn shop rrod. I've only done the mock up but so far spot on tempwise. Bravo, Looks great.
