  • rich hall looks so lost here

  • I'm only 22 and I loved the clangers when I was a kid, we had it on a VHS

  • Sorry, what I actually meant was anyone under forty. I think I may just have demonstrated the deterioration of one's faculties after a certain age. . . Never mind, I'll always have my childhood memories.

  • How lovely QI, The Clangers and Doctor Who all in one.

It would be difficult to explain the significance of this to anyone over forty.

  • I have a Clanger teddy that says that when I squeeze it... Oh god... :L

  • The only reason Stephen Fry likes Bagpuss is because he played that weird cat in alice in wonderland(Do i get some points for that)

  • AHHH THAT GUY'S BUZZER IS LAUREN COOPER! :D

  • This is how YouTube sucks you in as know the clangers on Dr. Who is just one click away. And off I go......

  • Good news for the younger viewers is that because that line is all whistles it's hard to tell that's swearing. As I don't swear I always interpret it as "Oh bother. The door has got stuck again."

  • @DarknessLPs It's in Season 9, the 3rd serial. Not quite sure how it'll be on the DVD because each serial was made up of around 5 or 6 episodes & I'm not sure if the DVD lists them as individual episodes or whole serials. I might be wrong but I think the clanger bit is in the 1st episode of Sea Devils. It really is a fantastic serial, one of my favourites of the classics so far (I'm slowly working my way through them).
