  • You do realize that cat's will return if you just let them free roam?

I don't get why people feel as if they must contain them or force them to stay indoor's, or in your case... In your yard.

  • @disarmedalarm The cats are much older now than when I did this video. Even Terra the flying kitty doesn't go anywhere any more. We live on the edge of wilderness. Packs of cayotes roam through the neighborhood from time to time and they eat kitties. When a sign is posted for a missing animal in this neighborhood it's never found.

  • Buddy looks like a big boss

  • @723lion You've got that right. I'm Buddy's humble servant. About the only time I see Buddy is when he comes into the room, sits on a chair facing the door with his back to me. It's his way of saying "feed me bitch."

  • get a haircut hippie!

  • @carsonandsteven Mom? Is that you?

  • @dmarks1 Well suppose that makes a lot more sense as to why you'd be trying to keep the cat in the yard.

  • @jigglethehandlestp1 I didn't know about these laws. I do agree with being courteous to your neighbors, we had a cat that we were able to teach to stay within a certain radius of the house and was only allowed out at certain times of the day. Then again the neighbors loved our cat, she always came home full because she'd be fed gourmet food by the neighbors. So yes, to an extent I understand. I just felt this video was on the extreme.

  • @disarmedalarm Some towns have local laws against cats outside their owner's yard. It can be trapped and brought to a shelter for euthanasia or adoption once it steps off your property. Also, some people don't appreciate other people's pets coming into their yard to defecate and kill wildlife, as my cat does when she's outside quite frequently. It's a courtesy to your neighbors to keep your pets, no matter the species, on your own property.

  • This must have been filmed here in Florida. Firstly because of the vegetation and secondly because of your craziness ;^)

  • I have had an Abby for 2 1/2 years now and I have to say, she is one of the most intelligent animals that's ever owned me. She always takes an intrest in what I am doing and wants to ba a part of the action. Happy holidays Doug!

  • Well after owning a cat I can say this saw it comin

  • end caps for the pipes + stainless steel tubing(it's in the part of the hardware store where they sell engineering supplies and stuff for science projects) + nylon spacers that fit over the tubing + a bit of silicone spray for additional slip on the tubing, should = a spinning barrier that your kitty can't get good footing on. if that doesn't spin enough, fast rollerblade bearings should. gl, cats are smart, & can learn to not jump if there are consequences. :)
