"Hey AZ" featuring SWV was supposed to be the first single off of AZ's sophmore album "Pieces of a Man".
That song uses the same sample as Mariah Carey's song "Honey", "Hey DJ" by the World Famous Supreme Team. Both were released in summer of 1997, but for some reason when the album was released in Spring 1998, the song "Hey AZ" was not on there. The initial disappointment only showed that his fans were not ready for the change in mood.
