You double jump... Your not supposeto double jump. You will end up hurting yurself if yu do. Trust me been there, done that!

@EdgePKC before atcually going into the back tuck, you are doing a pre-jump which supposedly takes away from your power & height.:)

that really helped me alot! I've been taking private lessons with my coach and last week my tucks were all messed up I would arch my back and through my head and I had another private tonight and they were insanely drastically better!! ever since I watched your video my set is correct I jump straight up and just get it now! thanks so much(:

@EdgePKC like for a back handspring, you're not supposed to jump and then do the bhs. same for a back tuck...i think. but i jump anyways.

Good tips there. Now, what about flexibility training tips in order to prepare for a standing back tuck?

Flexibility comes with a lot of time and practice. You should stretch before and after work outs and it should have a dull pain to it because you are stretching out your muscle, tendons, ect... For this I would advise on quads, legs, hips, back, and some core stretched. Hope that answers your question
