and in addition i only have a handheld rotary tool dremel. :| anyways i have successively achieve a conical tip just need to heat treat them

uhm what did you use to heat treat the tip ? in any case i dont have workshop blow torch can i use anything else besides that ?

Chuck one up in a hand drill and use it to spin the nail at a constant rate while grinding. Much faster and better finished product.

@Kicker700 That's a pretty good idea. I'll try it out on the next batch. I think these 10" ones are too large and heavy for "no-spin" throwing, The next batch will be made from steel rod instead of nails and I'll find the right diameter and length for the size of my hand.
