The reason I wanted to know was that, I kept picking up bows from dead enemies but could not use them, turns out I had to buy it from shop or find it as treasure in order to use it. The lute icon increase with better lutes and weapons can only be exchanged between different weapon categories; ex: get a better sword and old one becomes money whether you like it or not, and the item wheel only has room for one of each type of weapon and special items. Thanks for trying to answer though.

I don't even have the game but...

The video seems to be from iPad version of the game.

Since iPad doesn't really have any physical buttons, the devolopers put on-screen buttons for some actions.

But on PC you use keyboard buttons or mouse buttons to do those action.
