Yes, I have a lunge whip, I hold it behind me and only bring it up when I ask fro a change of speed. It's purple, so it's very hard to see.
My irons are too short here, I know I needed to lengthen them. This horse is very green, and had a tendency to mouth the bit if we wasn't bracing against it. He also lacked impulsion, but I was simply trying to get him to move forward at the time. The canter at the end was simply working on transition, which is why I didn't let him canter very long.

You two look great together, but....... Your toes are down and your heels are up. Keep those heels down! Also, either take the stirrups off, or tie them up when you lunge. One more thing, post with your thighs. It kinda looks like you're pushing off with your toes which makes the post too high.
