The Blueprint is a practical plan to move thousands from homelessness to homes, meet the growing need for affordable homes over the next decade, create thousands of new homes annually and provide rent subsidies to tens of thousands of low and moderate-income households. It includes specific targets for new affordable and supportive housing, rent supplements, emergency relief, eviction prevention and inclusive planning. The proposals are fully costed.
There GOES the neighborhood, I should have written...
We need one-room, single client, short-term, emergency accommadation...
Then, into housing..
NO MORE PUBLIC-FUNDED CRACK-DORMS AT $100 PLUS A NIGHT - FOR NOTHING!

I strongly believe one essential step is to abolish Toronto's antedeluvian dorm-style so-called Emergency Shelters. They help make homelessness permanent, with agencies like DIXON HALL and powerful unions like CUPE having a vested interest-in homelessness! Look at HEYWORTH HOUSE on the Danforth. It's a crack-house/brothel, the women prostitute themselves so the men can buy drugs, and they and the whole neighborhood goes to hell!

Why cant the homeless live in group homes and manage things together like the disabled do. half the homeless have mental challenges they deserve the same rights of those on disibility.
