  • very nice Sophia, you rock!! great piece of work dad !!!! keep it up and come up with more videos !! :)

  • You rock!! I did not expect to see someone 20 years younger than me on this video, but I was definitely blown away by your skills, & confidence in what you're doing. Keep up the great work & I hope to see more videos like this one :)

  • I expect to see this one take over "This Old House" some day...Keep up the great work sweetie...way to go dad!

  • Future shop teacher there. Great video.

  • Great Job Sophia and Dad. Today my grand niece asked me if she could turn a pen. We completed the pen blank and gluing the tubes. Before we continue tomorrow with the turning I wanted to refresh myself since it has been a couple years since I turned a pen. Your video was perfect. Thank you.

  • @Guidowood Really? Aside from the handle-less tool, there is NOTHING dangerous about anything she or he did in this video. Please, aside from the handle, share your (worthwhile) concerns. You should be happy she is in the shop, and not inside playing with her doll house.

  • Great job Sophia. A craftswoman and a teacher in the making.

  • Come on people, their using what they have and it works really well. Safety Safety Safety this is why we have such wimps today. Their not being stupid with it, He's showing/teaching her how to properly use the tools and she's learning very well. Would a handle be nice....sure but thats another project ;P Very nice job Sophia, keep it up.

  • I WANT THAT DAD!

  • The only thing I would like to see, is a handle on the tang of that file you turned into a chisel. I would hate to see her holding it and trip or something, and have that tang go into her. But it's great to see her taking an interest in something like that.
