For all u Buick guys think about what ur saying u have to mod the Buick to get to the Lincoln's performance it's never good when u have to play catch up lol under the hood of the Lincoln beats the heart of a cobra not a turtle with a supercharger

@spoiler71 Just like sports fans, even when they re team lose they cant accept it
-
@TheKlixer If you listened closely they said and showed the Ser2. They admitted both of the engines were at a disadvantage to the base engine in the Mark

@SlackersIndustry There is a reason that you dont see many Riv's on the street anymore.

And 13 years after this propaganda piece my 97 Mark still looks, rides and handles better than a Riv ever dreamed of. I had a Aunt that got the 96 with the huffer and it never came close to the performance of my dads 93, If you watch the vid you notice that the Riv nose dives hard and get a oscillation on the bump test.

I like my riviera, it is nice to drive for miles on freeways and not see another one , I can drive 20 miles and spot 20 mustangs , do turn heads once a while, and people ask what year it is, i would prefer awd on it and a v8 just cause i like to go fast, some people have thought it was v8 since theyve seen me take off and well it is considered a sleeper. Cant say nothing bad about the mark8 since never driven one but would if gotten the chance =)

Look for everyone who saying that the Buick riviera is stupid...... GO DRIVE ONE

They were comparing the Mark VIII to the N/A version (listen closely... "standard engine") of the Riviera. The SC version is an additional 40hp, which is the 1 most people bought. Drop a pulley size on the Riviera ($70), and it would eat the Mark VIII. Not to mention all the other available mods for the series II 3800, which was 1 of the greatest V6's ever built. You can bolt on alot of mods on that V6 for that extra $6k. Plus you will look like a senior citizen driving grandpa's Lincoln.

@nomellocreampig Since I own many Fords, Mercurys and many GM products...guess what skippy...I am not a lincoln fanboy like you. If you don't know of any Buick V6's making a ton of horsepower, then you are the one on YouTube who couldn't be more stupid. OBTW....I just sold a frame off restored blue/blue '64 SS Impala 283 w/a Powerglide that had 22,109 original miles to a buyer out of Florida for $36,500 plus fees. Have a nice life, stupid.
This so called "review" looks more like a chevy commercial...
The Mark viii OWNS The Riviera in every way but price, and your 6,000 does go to a better car overall...
