Evansville IceMen - The REAL Goal Song Returns (1-14-2012)

After a much-criticized 15-game experiment with a new goal song, the REAL Evansville IceMen goal song (Gary Glitter's "Rock & Roll Part 2") made its triumphant return on "Pack the House Night" against the hated Fort Wayne Komets on January 14, 2012. IceMen fans were surprised but overjoyed when the tune was played after Evansville's first goal of the night.

This video features the second IceMen goal (by John Ronan) and the resulting celebration, with 9403 elated Maniacs crammed into Ford Center. By night's end, the IceMen prevailed 3-1 over the Komets - sending the franchise-record crowd home happy.
