  • That was really , my school is doing it and I am Shanti/Cocnut tree. I wear strawberry earrings so my friends have call me Cocoberry since the beggning of rehesals. We have older kids though, it is 3-6 grade. I am in 5th! I have never been on the stage, till now. Our first performence is next friday. I am soooo nevous, but soooo exited.

  • I think this type of residency program is fantastic. One of the things that seems to be missing from our kids today is a total lack of confidence and self-esteem. Just hearing the interviews with the cast is a very uplifting and telling proof that all kids need sometimes is a chance to perform and get outside of the confines and restrictions that they might experience at home and at school. This is a great proving ground and confidence builder. Thanks for the treat!

  • Now that was pretty awesome!! Taking kids that have never been on stage and turning them "professional". Great job kids and director. Would love to see more schools work in this manner. Now that is what I pay taxes for.
