Palatino VE 500 Electric Upright Bass - Sound Example

I have noticed a need for a decent audio rendering of the Palatino VE 500 Electric Upright Bass. Here is my attempt. It is direct with no EQ or effects. The bass is factory stock. No mods except a piece of rubber under the bridge to prevent overwhelming bass frequencies. This is not intended for musical critique, just an aid for those contemplating purchasing this instrument. I just got this bass, I'm an utter newbie, never picked up an instrument like this before. And I'm feeling pretty glad about picking this one up after having a bit of a play around with it to begin. I'm obv no expert But listening to videos like this is getting me really hyped to start learning

I just got it and is a great instrument mostly for the acoustic sound and the accesible price, is one of my best decitions. the only cons I found are a little buzz in the metal tail piece easy to dump and a badly design attached extension por the body rest, it should be more in 45 degrees or something more ergonomic... but also a easy thing to resolve..
