I myself would never dare to think my version is a "match" for the excitement (and innovation) of the original. It's just another way of interpreting a wonderful bit of songwriting.

@alonzogarbanzo Frankly, while writing that reply I was listening to my video track in the background, and it sounds so dang SLOW to me! But that's always a subjective and highly variable judgment depending on when I hear something. It seemed right three years ago, I guess; and I guess it's OK as is.

I watched this video a year or so ago and got to thinking about it again. I almost never found it because of all the low quality covers which come up on a search. But, I gotcha on the subscribed list now. :) I'm 60, played a lot of bands in the old days and even did some session work before the draft ruined my chances, so I know a little of what I'm saying... this is the best cover on the 'Tube.
