During the Bush years, the US didn't see a single piece of legislation come through Washington that helped stop the emission of greenhouse gases. As a result, we're now far behind almost every other industrialized nation when it comes to curbing the causes of climate change. When Obama was elected, environmentalists thought that we would see a wave of new legislation helping reduce greenhouse gases. While we've seen a few laws to help, we're still not seeing what we'd been promised during the campaign season. The Arctic ice sheet most certainly has not grown since 1968 (for starters) - cite your source on that one. Who's sounding hysterical?

The hysteria of "Bill" is absurd. This is the same sort of fellow who, in 1974, was arguing that global COOLING was threatening to destroy the world. The arctic ice sheet had GROWN rapidly since 1968. It is disappointing, to say the least, to hear pseudo-scientists like "Bill" spew this reactionary politicoscience.

Critize republicans you get 5 stars. A liberal critizes Obama and three stars. That is a shame that we are sheeping the ratings like that.
