Since Rainbow Disposal has now rid themselves of their old MSL fleet completely, this is Part 2 of a compilation of ALL my gathered footage of their trucks. This particular montage is of the Shupak style Amrep MSL.

  • wow sounds like this babys got a detroit

  • You better believe it! :-)

  • I saw a ShuPak style Moxon MSL in the background at 9:30. It looked like the one I saw in Trashman242's EDCO videos. A ShuPak style Maxon MSL came to my grandparents' house in Fountain Valley about 4-5 years ago when I was 9 or 10.

  • Unfortunately I never captured Rainbow's Shupak style Amrep MSL, the ones I knew were trucks 79 - 84 and they were loud and angry sounding Detoits! I'm still kicking myself for not getting them up here. The ones at 9:30 are all Amrep Octo MSL's.

  • 0:10 sounds like a DD6v92TA powered bus!

  • what engine in this truck?

  • @shadofax96 LOL that's amazing...and quite literally haha, life and limb being risked :D The trucks are probably getting beat up down there and without any maintenance to speak of, so it'd be not such a nostalgic and 'joyous' experience after all, come to think of it. But you wonder how many other Cali trucks that fade away end up back in service down there...

  • @Trashman242 From what I understood they are actually still being used. The reason for this, apparently these trucks are considered NEW down there. The equipment used in Mexico is pretty bad from what I've heard. So if you want to risk life and limb (literally) to visit and chase these trucks, they should still be down there, and should be for years to come. ;-)

  • @shadofax96 Do you know if they are actually used for trash collection there? Or just for scrap?

  • you gotta love those 2-stroke detroits! thier some of the most sexiest sounding diesel engines ever made!

  • wow that truck is very loud!!!!
