My grandmother, a master at Chinese cooking, making chee cheong fun (rice noodle rolls) with shrimp, sausage, eggs and onion.

Ingredients-

1 - rice flour*
2 - water
3 - ha mai (really small dried shrimp)*, soaked in water until soft
4 - laap churng (pre-cooked Chinese sausage)*, cut into small pieces
5 - scrambled eggs, cut into small pieces
6 - green onion, cut into small pieces
7 - cooking spray or vegetable oil

*available at Asian grocers

------------

Combine the first 6 ingredients in a bowl. For every cup of flour, use 2 c. water. Get about 5 aluminum pans and lightly coat with cooking spray or vegetable oil. Prepare a wok by bringing water to a boil. I think this batch yielded 25-30 noodle rolls.

  • Can you list the ingredient in the description?

Also, how many cup of rice flours you use?

  • @yayakiko The ingredients are now in the description. Not sure how much flour she used here, but use 1 cup of flour for every 2 cups of water.

  • What kind of flour did you use because there are so many rice flour

  • @annihilators5 Ok, I finally confirmed the kind of flour you need - amazon.com/Thai-Rice-Flour-16-oz/dp/B000EYC096

Sorry this took so long. My mom has been taking care of my grandmother after major surgery, and since I live 600 miles from them, it was hard to get an answer. I was only able to check with her because I'm visiting them this weekend :)

  • I just tried to make this and failed hard. Don't know what went wrong tbh.

  • @Jsteria Please see my reply to annihilators5. I included a link.
