We are located in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. Coyote Canyon Adventures brings to you not only horseback adventures, but hiking, biking, hot air ballooning, camping, ATV, multi-day cross country, and ecological adventures as well. Every adventure is tailored to meet each particular groups´ needs.
Our adventures let you experience the spectacular beauty of the Mexican countryside in a very unique way. Our expert guides lead you safely into canyons, through rivers, over plains, across gorges, and onto sheer cliffs, all the while sharing with you their in-depth knowledge of the native flora and fauna. Wildlife commonly seen on our excursions includes eagles, hawks, vultures, crows, rabbits, raccoons, skunks, armadillos, jackrabbits, roadrunners, and lizards. If you look closely enough you may even spot a coyote. We have half-day, full day, and overnight horseback excursions available. All excursions are very exciting. Throughout our excursions we explore a series of working cattle ranches located west of San Miguel. To make matters more exciting, the main canyon of this region, runs right through this area. We explore these ranches, prairies, and canyon, as extensively as time permits us, and the scenery is just breathtaking in every direction.
At scenic rest stops along our journeys our great cowboy chefs prepare your delicious ranch style meals right on the campfire. Our excursions are exciting and rugged yet can also be tailored for families with small children or for seniors who would prefer a slower pace. . Our youngest client, on an overnight horseback adventure, has been 1 & ½ years old. Our eldest guest, 83 years young. No riding experience is necessary for horseback adventures, and all ages are welcome.
