July 13, 2011 | I spoke with Faisal and Firas of Acrassicauda at their rehearsal space in Anaheim a couple days before they embarked on the second leg of their U.S. tour. They talked about their favorite road food, progress on their upcoming album, and how they REALLY need to get a new drum set!

Proud to have these dudes as American metalheads! I wish them the best and will continue to buy their albums and see their shows if they come to my town. Their story is un-fucking-believable. To think that metal could penetrate the middle eastern culture blows my mind. Rock on dudes!

These guys are a breath of fresh air. Having heard plenty of heavy bands, there's just an added intensity to their music, mainly because they've lived through times of war, they've seen things none of us could ever phatom. These guys are the real deal.
