ARCHOS 9 Windows Ultimate & Aero

To discover the potential of the Archos 9 PC Tablet (v1) :
- Just replace Windows 7 Starter Edition with a Professional, Home Premium or Ultimate Edition
- Install the latest flash player (here beta 10.1.3) for hardware acceleration and a better youtube support
- Restore the original Win 7 keyboard (more reactive)
- Install Firefox with the "Grab and Drag" plugin to scroll like iphone (scrollbars not needed)

That's all for me.. but If you have time / money, you can replace the original hard drive with a SSD..
I don't try it, but I saw benchmarks in forums, it seems really rocks !! ^^

is there any way you can run apple os on it not ipad os i mean mac os, also is it capacitive

@MrClassy1991 Perhaps with virtualbox, but IT shoud be slow... Unfortunately it's not a capacitive screen, only resistive.

i want to know if you can upgrade the hard drive cause the down part of this tablet is that they only have it up to 60gb of hard drive memory but in reality 60 is not 60 and the os takes space ftrom the hd?

@luvinzunigaduzt If you are techician I know it's possible to change the original hard drive to SSD for example. You can use an external 2,5" hard drive with USB port too.

Great Video! I hesitant to buy this because of Windows Starter but seeing how well yours runs with Ultimate I think I'll buy it.

Do anyone know or have a big hunch that Archos may come out with a better Windows tablet?

@phillipkid I don't know, latest Archos tablets runs now wit Android OS.. and the user experience is really better and smooth. (I think Window 7 is too heavy for actual Internet tablets)

Bonjour j'ai un soucis je suis passer a ultimate mis les driver a jour installer le pilote hid tout s'installe comme il le faut mais rien pas d'ecran tactile pas possible de calibrer ni etallonner rien dutout ne fonctionne que ce passe t-il?
