@TheJoshuamitra @shadom you're both right, but it's not hate it is frustration and anger. it's something that we have all felt at one time when we wanted an answer and didn't get one. Repentance is the only way to receive forgiveness, but like the old man said, does that mean we can just go on sinning knowing we'll be forgiven?!? not at all.
-
@shadhom If you were in your death bed dying from cancer, would you be pleased with an answer like that? You don't look for sugar coated messages, when you're desperately running out of time. It's not hate that motivated, but more of frustration.
-
I hope this old man had a change of heart before he died, he has all this hate builded up inside him because of his sins of the past. All he has to do is open up his heart and confess to Jesus and he will be forgiven of his sins.

thats the dude from Breaking Bad!

But the old testament did not replace the old testament in Christianity. The New Testament fulfilled it. Jesus came and said he was the person they have been waiting for, through various 'I am' (ego eimi) saying recorded in the book of John and through miracles, least of all his revival from the dead. I don't mean this as a arrogant attack, but I will take my chances with Jesus, who fulfilled prophecy left right and centre and overcame death, whilst Mohammed is dead

I think this lady was from Joel Osteen Ministries hehehehe!!!!! She speaks like Him

@GoldenbanjoDJ You will still go to hell according to the Quran as you go against the "there shall be no other gods" commandment, one of the most serious ones. I urge you to repent and start your works today and leave the false religion of Christianity, it once was valid but a new revelation replaced the old one just like happened to the old testament and now the new testament, Quran is the most up to date word of God.

They agree with significant portions of the Bible. All 3 religions are Abrahamic religions. You know this.
Again, you must read what I am saying. I said "whether they agree or not with the whole of the Bible". I know they don't agree with the whole of the Bible, but as you point out, there are large sections, particularly in Judaism, that run paralell to the OT. Islam sees Jesus as a prophet, as well.
-
@GoldenbanjoDJ Why would they agree with the Bible? Torah is the most important book according to the Jews (meaning the first books of the Bible) and Quran is the newest revelation, a place once held by Bible itself.
-
Because usually it is not a Muslim or a Jew on Youtube questioning the integrity of people with faith in situations like the video presented. They, whether they agree or not with the whole of the Bible, understand the role faith has to play in such a circumstance. It is the atheist who comes and attacks. That's why I focused on the atheist. But on a scale of 1-10 for how important focusing on this point of the arugment is, I would actually award it a 2. Generously, tho
@bblande
Yes. I don't think people realise that the actions of evangelists are filled completely with love and compassion. They recieve absolutely no gain at all for convincing anyone so it isn't exactly a selfishly motivated act. What is more, whether you're an atheist and believe in the Bible or not, these Christians are definately looking out for other people. No question.
Christians aren't exactly 'tricking' someone into giving them loads of money on their deathbed... Not at all.
