Special Comment on Prop 8

Keith Olbermann gives a Special Comment on the passing of Proposition 8 in California. From Countdown with Keith Olbermann on November 10, 2008.

I feel the same way as Keith on this, i am a christian but i do NOT believe that we have the right to say who marries whom.
I beileve that we should let who ever wants to get married get married, it is none of our business.

I am appalled at how christians are treating this, like Keith says we are supposed to live by the Bible.
But the Bible says "Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You", but these so called "christians" are not doing this.
I hope that their grandkids will forgive them, because they will look back and see what they're grandparents voted for, they voted to keep people from getting married.
Something that EVERYONE should have the right to do.

EDIT: i just heard some wonderful news, The Iowa Supreme Court Has legalized Gay Marriage.
I am so happy, now if we can only get all the other states to do it too.

I voted no on Prop 8... unfortunately that was not enough. Sigh. Hopefully we can win the court case though. :)

The people who are don't understand what it's like to be told you can't be as happy as a straight person.
