Demi: [comes in] shes asleep
Joe: [lying on the sofa and opens up his arm for her]
Demi: [lays next to him, cuddling into his chest whilst watching the TV]
On the TV
Reporter: today at around 6pm, 2 men were shot dead in the city centre. The police think this was a planned event and are appealing to any possible witnesses to come forward.

Joe: [switches off the TV] right, enough of that
Demi: [smiles and turns over, so shes lying on his chest looking up at him] Im hungry
Joe: you want some dinner then beautiful?
Demi: which Im gonna make you, seeing as Ive done nothing all day [smiles]
Joe: I said last night, now youre mine you wouldnt be doing anything
Demi: and tonight, Im gonna do something for you [goes to get up]
Joe: I think youre forgetting something [smiles]
Demi: [leans in to kiss him]
Joe: [wraps his arms around her waist so shes trapped in between them and his body and pulls her closer, making her sit on him. He gently pulls one of her legs over, so shes straddling him and moves one of his hands down to the bottom of her top lifting it up slightly]
Demi: [lightly bites on his bottom lip]
Joe: [lets her in, and continues moving her top up, pulling away from the kiss to remove it completely, and then leans back in kissing her again whilst moving his hand up and down, tracing her curves]
April: mummy? [A/N AWKWARD!]
Demi: [quickly pulls away and turns her head to face her]
April: what are you doing?
Joe: you mums top fell on the er floor. And she was sat on me trying to find it?
Demi: [turns to him] shes not an idiot. Hunny, why dont you go back to bed and Ill come and see you in a minute
April: I want Joe to come
Joe: Ill be there in a minute sweetie
April: [goes back to her and Demis room]
Demi: [pulling on her top] what the hell were we thinking?
Joe: shh. Baby, its fine. Ill go and talk to her and you can make dinner
Demi: Ill be there in a minute
Joe: [goes to Aprils room] hey [sits on the side of her bed]
April: what were you doing?
Joe: [starts tucking the duvet around April] me and your mum—
Demi: [about to walk in but stands outside listening in when she hears April]
April: are you my new daddy?
Joe: [slightly smiles] no sweetie. I wanna look after you, coz you and your mum mean a lot to me, and love you both very much
April: so is that why she was in your room this morning?
Joe: n—[hesitates] yeah
April: oh. Can you stay with me until I fall asleep?
Joe: you dont mind?
April: your nice. You buy me McDonalds breakfast [snuggles into the pillow and closes her eyes]
Joe: [mutters] if only everything was that simple [lays next to her]
Demi: [walks in and sits at the end of the bed, smiling at Joe]
Joe: [mouths] you okay?
Demi: [nods her head, and gets up and kisses April] night sweetheart

The following morning
[door bell rings]
Demi: [wakes up and smiles, seeing Joe with his arm around April, all of them had fallen asleep last night. She quietly gets up to opens the door] what are you doing here?
??: [barges through the door]
