It's called SHOCK VALUE people... If you are shocked, as implied by your squeamish, immature responses, then the video worked... This video is funny... since when are ecologists terrorists or fascists? ecologists, by definition, love life--they dedicate their lives to the study of life because they know reactionary shlubs like many of those who responded are too apathetic to give a hoot about anyone except themselves... grow up.

Calm down guys, this is a metaphor, they're absolutely not saying that they'll kill our kids for not protecting the environment. They're saying that the ones won't don't try to do something will suffer from their behaviour (that they are the ones pressing their own red button) and it'll even have repercussions on others (hence the goo being projected on the people around). And if you can't get dark humor, metaphors and irony, then it's your loss. :(

@topologyrob Your the one that doesn't get it. The people behind this are insinuating those of us who don't agree with them should be KILLED. There is no humor behind this. I'll also point out if a Conservative, a Republican, a Christian, a Tea Party member had released a video like this depicting liberals or democrats being killed not only would you leftists be screaming for the the execution for those behind it, but the Left Biased network news would make it a front page crime.

Why do you trust hacks and non-specialists more than the experts? @topologyrob Again, attacks not addressing the point, if it is so weak it should be easy to address. If the BNP decided to 'raise awareness' about immigration by having a video of their goons killing immigrant kids, would it be a joke? No. Clearly not. Neither was this as even the film makers now concede. When an emeritus professor of physics quits his professional body and the Royal society get basic maths wrong that should make you think. Does it?
