  • Oh,I'm certainly not defending Crocker-rightly booted out of the army and indeed got off far too easily for what he did.But I do think the court of public opinion delivered the right verict on Hallett's treatment.This character's cause is undoubtedly helped too by being played by Jack Regan's ever likeable boss.

  • You've got a point there, MasterMeaker. I don't really think Hallett was a truly evil person, just misguided and unfortunately for him at the end, it did him no good.

  • Okay fair enough, but according to what they found about it, he seemed a pretty harsh character, although you have to admit, his partner (played by Godfrey James) was even worse.

    You can't actually help, but feel sorry for Hallett at the end.
