You had ovechkin, yashin, kvasha, datsyuk, kovalchuck, afinogenov, gonchar, kovalev, tverdovsky, markov, kasparitis, volchenkov, zubrus, etc. at the time that was a pretty stacked line-up. And by the way you did have danny markov so shut up. You guys werent even a favourite going into the tourney. You guys were projected to go 4th.

@iLuvBarRefaeli russia didn't have khabibulin in net, that they didn't have yuskevich who was a really good defensman at the time, didn't have danny markov who was a good d-man too, didn't have fedorov, zubov and all those guys, canadians make excuses about not having there best players out so i can make excuses too

@iLuvBarRefaeli they beat russia 3-1 the game could have gone either way, russia were mssing a lot of their good players, canada complains about not having its best players but russia didn't have its best out there and they still only lost 3-1

Canada is the best people accept it and stop fighting about it, theres a superior nation in every sport, Baseball = US, Football = Brazil, Rugby = New Zealand, Hockey = Canada. doesn`t get any simpler than that.
