  • Thank goodness she was too tall to join the army... We might've never had the chance to see her change America if it weren't for her.

  • I can't picture Julia Child in Tijuana! Odd!

  • Absolutely awesome video, keep up the good work!!!

  • meryl was awesome in julie and julia!!

  • @gothicgrace you assume that I give any credibility to the Academy..and the Globes for that matter...both award shows are a scam and often give the nod to VERY undeserving performances..granted, occasionally they get it right, but when they are off, they are WAY off..I guess with Streep they were off 16 and 25 times respectively..no shocker there

  • streep is awful, bitch can't act.

  • @yeshuaserver Yes...with 16 Oscar nominations and out of those, 2 wins...oh and 25 Golden Globe nominations...yeah, Streep sucks...

  • Julia fails to mention that she originally put in for Army and the Female Equivilant of Navy SEAL but was told that she was too tall before she went to the OSS.

But they let 6'6" Roald Dahl join the RAF and fly fighters.

Must have been different policy between the States and England.

  • id like to see you do it. So get off your high horse. Julia Child was an amazing cook yes; but it was even her who said that cooking is what made us who we are and who we are distinguishes our food. While you may never be a chef; you can always have the heart to cook. Acting is Meryl's art of "cooking' persay. So come off it you twits.
