Sequels are all about raising the stakes, and Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo does exactly that. In fact, it's virtually identical to the first Breakin', only with a sillier plot and crazier dance sequences. It also retains its predecessor's sense of pure glee, preventing the movie from feeling like the crass cash-in it actually is.

also BEAT STREET 2 was suppose to be made but also was scrapped as NYC in 85, 86 was no where to be seen .
well, maybe in manhattan
but not in the bronx, brooklyn etc etc on the street corners like how it was

they were gonna make Breakin' 3 right after this one but they lost their entire 3,000 piece ensemble neon wardrobe to a freak bagel fire in the Cannon backlot.

Thats my good friend Russ B. at :39. He thought this movie was gonna be his big break in Hollywood. Unfortunately he was killed in a freak bagel making accident just days before the movie was released and his dream was never realized.
The a-holes at the bagel place never even closed up for his funeral . All they said was we cant afford to close for that idiots funeral. Now shut up and wipe his blood off those bagels!!
