This car was never the most powerful in nz , he wished it was but tried to do everything cheap not properly ! I have a gd source to tell me this and spent more time blown up then running

@andresq4545 the ls1 has an aluminum block so it weighs about on par many times less than the foreign engine that it replaces during an engine swap like this

Actually, American small block V8s are extremely light though they have large displacement and are very reliable since they have less complex parts...they are primitive in the sence that they are pushrod engines. But the reason american cars "spin out" and have bad handling isn't cuz of the engine it's cuz of the stone-age leaf spring suspensions and poor weight distribution of many of our "sports cars"...or cars in general.
