In our Public Health Concepts course at Springfield College in Springfield, MA, we are learning about emergency preparedness. On June 1, 2011, Springfield, MA, was hit by a severe tornado that surprised everyone and caused massive damage, including to the Springfield College campus. We entered the CDC's "Are YOU Prepared?" video contest to showcase our resolve to educate the public on how to be prepared for such a disaster, or any disaster.
