Thank God for Rev. Robert Smith's Hooping. I can understand and feel the message. New Bethel in Detroit is a blessed church.

It's not a disgrace, hooping is how the story is told with a particular style, it about genre.

i am a preacher my self , teaching is preaching. hooping is the cherry on top of good sound teaching. i hoop GOD gave it to me. i know not where it come, but through the HOLY SPIRIT.

Its cultural stop hatin! but sometimes it could be annoying, when somebody don't know how to do it right! And it's annoying when the holy ghost is trying to move in a different way and the preacher is stuck in the unfamiliar and not use to flowing in the spirit!

Whooping is good when one wants to transmitt ones feelings and emotions regarding the subject matter. BUT it is important for the hearer or listeners not get lost in the emotions being conveyed and miss the point of the message.

When i was younger, i did not like hooping. Now that I am older I love it. Unfortunately MOST hoopers do not teach and most teachers cannot hoop. There are a few who can do both very well. However, if I had to only have one, it would be teaching. And if you are going to hoop at least be saying something.
