I liked the first game a lot more than the second one. I don't know why, I just thought the plot was better and that the atmosphere (which was probably the only truly scary part of the game) was far creepier.

@1stRPGMichael They're equally as good. I understand more people who have played Doom 3 (like me) have to defend it and say all others who try to compare them say DS sucks, but when playing DS1 and Doom 3 back to back, I was really impressed and didn't think lower of either game.
