@mrteemumilto I'm not sure where Victor Manuel got his influences, but the music of Asturias sounds very similar to music played in Europe before the Moorish invasion. I recomend hearing some historical accurate European music by Musica Ficta. Asturias has very strong Celtic roots and would be considered one of the Celtic Nations if it weren't for the fact that they did not conserve the language. Listening to some of the folk music from groups like Llan de Cubel helps visualise it.
