I read Seth's blog every day and benefit from what he has to say, but he's sounding like a shill for Monsanto with the hybrid seed talk. There are good, intelligent reasons Indian farmers stick with the traditional seeds, and no, it's not on their agenda to wake up every day and want to pay licensing fees to Monsanto just to grow food.

Fascinating... Being so ingrained in industrialization and mass marketing, I'm just another fish unaware of the water I'm in. Seth's concept of first-time purchasing as a huge barrier seems so alien from my perspective. And that's the magic of Seth's reveal.

@ropersix Turns out I jumped to conclusions here about the seeds. Seth's not talking about GMO seeds from Monsanto at all. Rather, they're from a company that takes an organic and natural approach to creating better seeds. So my apologies for misleading anyone.
