Interesting, this is very similar to the training/propaganda films that we were forced to see in Basic and AIT in 1969 when I was in the Army.

I agree that it is good that they have preserved all these DoD and armed forces documentaries and film and newsreel reports from the Vietnam War. It is interesting to hear the official view of operations which was contemporary with the war in Vietnam. This film report was made in 1966 according to the copyright date and to get the USMC view of the war from '66 is very interesting to this viewer.
